ALESSANDRO CORSINI

Master of Digital Media (Universität/HFK Bremen)
Bachelor of Advertising Technique (Università p.S. Perugia)

“Home is where you hang your hat”, they say.
Alessandro Corsini is an image maker by day, a digital media practitioner by night, and a world citizen in spirit. A versatile visual artist, his professional emphasis is on envisioning and creating – or directing the creation of – audiovisual and photographic content for brands and NGOs. Conversely, his artistic focus is on fine-art photography printed on brushed aluminum.
Based in Berlin since 2010, he called home 9 cities in 4 different countries throughout his lifetime. He was born in Milan, Italy, raised on the pristine beaches of Sardinia and had his first encounter with black & white film photography during his intermediate school studies in Maryland, USA. The interest for media has since guided his multifaceted formation, leading him not only to study and work with different media but also to explore them through artistic, scientific, and applied arts lenses. During his postgraduate studies, he embraced the digital revolution, expanding his production to include video, interactive media, and hybrid forms. At the beginning of 2023, he again welcomed the next disruptive technology in the field of imaging: generative artificial intelligence. His previous professional experience includes work for major advertising agencies, national broadcast television programs, as well as research and university-teaching experiences in the field of multimedia/HCI. All these experiences have shaped and continue to shape the conceptual space A.C. inhabits—one that is diverse, open to influences, and in constant transformation. Always a different place.
